• Help group leaders have the confidence to successfully facilitate an Into My Arms group.

  • Help group leaders experience the project "first hand" so they can assist their clients involved with Into My Arms.

  • Provide a "safe place" for the facilitators to obtain healing themselves. The intensity of this project may "trigger" past issues in the facilitator. Participating in the training will assist facilitators to heal from any unresolved issues before they lead others in their healing journey.

  • The Objectives of the training are:

    • Common symptoms of survivors of post-abortion trauma, the stages of recovery and how to support clients to move through them.

    • How to assist clients to discover the cognitive distortions resulting from their trauma.

    • How to integrate prayer into the healing process.
